The end of the 2020-2021 school year will close the amazing chapter on Kingsford Elementary as we know it. The Kingsford area, families, and community have been amazing and those that have come through here will cherish the memories forever. Kingsford, built in 1962, has no room left for expansion and is need of major renovations; it could be modernized or repurposed in the future.

We will look to carry on the legacy, as well as making new memories, at our new campus and location.

Willow Oak Elementary, located at 4815 Bailey Road in Mulberry, will open at the start of the 2021-22 school year. The 127,000-square-foot school will have capacity for approximately 1,000 students.
Willow Oak will serve most of the existing student population at Kingsford Elementary and provide enrollment relief to James W. Sikes and R. Bruce Wagner elementary schools.

We are happy to announce that we are participating in the Box Tops for Education Program! This is a great way to get funding for our school.

It is very simple to sign-up (which includes identifying Kingsford as the school you want to support) and contribute.  After signing-up, you just have to use your phone or tablet to take a picture of your receipt, then it automatically uploads, scans your receipt for items that qualify and credits it to Kingsford.  You don’t have to figure out ahead of time which items would qualify.
